Here's the program for the 2024 Canada Day activities in Montreal.

We look forward to seeing you at the Clock Tower Quay in Montreal's Old Port.

1:30 p.m. Honor salute - 21 cannon shots

The celebrations start with a 21-gun salute to Canada's birthday. The Canadian Armed Forces and the RCMP will be on hand; come and take your souvenir photo with them!

2:00 p.m. Swearing-in ceremony

Canada Day will continue with the swearing-in ceremony of citizenship for new Canadians.

3:00 p.m. Opening of activities

This day of celebration with families in mind offers you a multitude of activities! Artistic performances, a giant playground, inflatable games, entertainment for the whole family to enjoy.

Canada Day will also feature workshops such as a face painting station and First Nations discovery.

Come to the "Draw Canada" workshop to share your vision of Canada!

Parks Canada will be there with a game of On the tracks of wildlife and Discover Canada's parks. Play, discover and learn while having fun, what a great program!

4:15 p.m. Percussion workshop

SAMAJAM will be on hand to rock you to the rhythm of their frenzied percussion! Get ready to be swept away by their breathtaking rhythms and performances.

Young and old alike, their music will have you tapping your toes and dancing along with their energetic, festive and highly participatory performances.

4:30 p.m. Challenge the luminous interactive wall

The Digi-Sports Canada interactive wall is accessible to everyone and perfect for entertaining the whole family.

Combining modernity and simplicity, this game is easy to understand and guarantees moments of fun for young and old. Test your reflexes, have fun, and take part in our competition to win Activity Passes offered by Parks Canada.

Parents and children are invited to color and draw Canada. Other maze and search-and-find games will also be available.
