1:00 p.m. Swearing-in ceremony
Old Port (Clock Tower Quay)
Canada Day will open with the swearing-in ceremony of citizenship for new Canadians.

1:50 p.m. Gun salute
Old Port (Clock Tower Quay)
The celebrations will continue with the 21-gun salute to Canada's birthday. The Canadian Armed Forces and the RCMP will be on hand; come have your souvenir photo taken with them!

2:00 p.m. Opening of activities
Old Port (Clock Tower Quay)
This day of celebration with families in mind offers you a multitude of activities! Artistic performances, a giant playground, inflatable games, entertainment for the whole family to enjoy.
Canada Day will also feature workshops such as a face painting station and First Nations discovery.
Come to the "Draw Canada" workshop to share your vision of Canada!
The TAZ Caravan will offer a special initiation to skateboarding and scootering for teenagers. A miniature skatepark will be set up on the site and no need to bring any equipment. Skateboards, scooters and helmets will be lent on site!
Parks Canada will be there with a game of On the tracks of wildlife and Discover Canada's parks. Play, discover and learn while having fun, what a great program!

2:30 p.m. First serving of the Canada Day cake

Participants will be invited to enjoy the traditional Canada Day cake, while quantities last. A second serving will take place at 4:30 p.m. at the same location!

7:00 p.m. Performance by DJ Lux & Klein
Old Port (Clock Tower Quay) - Stage
DJs Lux and Klein will end the festivities with a musical performance that is sure to have everyone moving to the beat.

10:00 p.m. Fireworks cancelled

The long-awaited fireworks will light up the sky at 10 p.m. to bring Canada Day to a fitting close in Montreal!
